RX-0201 is a first-in-class signal inhibitor that directly represses the production of Akt, a protein kinase that plays a key role in cancer progression. A less toxic therapeutic approach to cancer treatment, RX-0201 blocks the growth of tumor cells and promotes cell death (apoptosis).
